We recently partnered with a leading organisation to deliver an agile observability sourcing exercise, helping them select the right platform to support their growing need for real-time visibility, intelligence, and performance monitoring across their infrastructure and application landscape.

Our client had outgrown their legacy tooling and required a solution that could meet a wide range of technical and business requirements. Key to our approach was ensuring the needs of all relevant stakeholders were captured, from infrastructure teams to application developers and business users. Working closely with the client, we facilitated the definition of a robust, forward-looking set of observability requirements.

These included AI-assisted insights, support for both infrastructure and application-level observability, ease of integration, and the ability to accurately forecast monthly and annual platform costs.

Working closely with the client we guided them through a structured market review of four leading platforms from the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Observability. While several enterprise grade solutions including premium, “Rolls-Royce” offerings were considered, the emphasis was on fit for purpose value.

Given the client’s current maturity, regulatory landscape, and strategic roadmap, LogicMonitor was identified as the most suitable choice, providing the right balance of capability, cost predictability, and speed to value.

To validate the decision, we jointly launched a Proof of Value (PoV), deploying LogicMonitor into the client’s test environments. Working closely with LogicMonitor, and the clients internal infrastructure and application monitoring teams, we tested the platform against key success criteria alongside the initial use cases and requirements. The PoV demonstrated clear value, confirming that the platform could deliver on both immediate and longer-term objectives.

With the PoV successfully completed, we are now moving into the next phase:
