We successfully brought the solution together under a single prime supplier, who took ownership of the design and delivery and subcontracted to the other infrastructure OEM vendors. This approach provided integration accountability while preserving the benefits of best-of-breed components delivered through a well-managed and cohesive delivery model.

A robust negotiation phase followed, with each vendor participating in a Best and Final Offer (BAFO) process. By aligning proposals to clearly defined success criteria focusing on the impact of change, innovation risk, and total cost we enabled our client to make informed, confident decisions about the optimal architecture.
