Building a Global Cloud Operations Capability for Healthcare_

Reliable Patient Care, Secure, Resilient Cloud Operations Supporting Global Healthcare Services_

Establishing a Global Cloud Operations Function_

Valuecom is proud to have partnered with a leading Global Healthcare provider to accelerate its global cloud operating capabilities through the design and deployment of a fully operational Cloud Operations Team. The engagement forms a cornerstone of the Healthcare providers mission to deliver compliant, cloud-based services across the US, Canada, and UK markets.

From Build to Operational Readiness_

Valuecom was engaged to support and work alongside a multiphase cloud programme. Our objective was transitioning cloud infrastructure from build to production-ready operations, with regulatory approval in place for commercial rollout. This delivery included:

Establishing the Foundation for Cloud Operations_

Cloud Operations Statement of Work_

A critical foundation was the development of a comprehensive Cloud Operations SoW, defining roles, responsibilities, and executable activities across all third-party managed services within the AWS environment and contract this with a third party provider. This SoW enabled a shared understanding of operational expectations, supported contractual clarity, and ensured all parties were aligned on delivery performance standards.

Building a Foundation for Consistent Service Delivery_

Quality Approved - Service Manuals

Valuecom authored and delivered detailed service manuals that codified the full suite of operational activities to be performed by the Cloud Operations Team. Designed to meet the rigour of healthcare-grade systems, these manuals included:

User and Access Request User and Access CreationCloud Infrastructure Monitoring Cyber Incident Management  Vulnerability Management Operating System Patching   Application Monitoring Infrastructure Monitoring Active Directory Services  Backups   Antivirus SQL - Cluster ManagementTagging Log Management Cryptography, Key Management & Certificate Management Disaster Recovery • Environment Management Decommission

Each manual was developed to enable clear auditability, operational reproducibility, and service assurance under regulatory scrutiny.

Compliance Embedded Across Every Layer of Service Delivery_

Building Compliance Into Cloud Operations_

Given the commercial scope spanned USCAN and UK healthcare markets, Valuecom ensured regulatory compliance was embedded at every layer and led the HIPAA assessment for the environment working with compliance to facilitate approval for handling protected health information (PHI).

We executed the GDPR compliance checklist, validated and approved against UK and EU standards and embedded regulatory control points into the service manuals to ensure continuous compliance.

Testing, Validating and Preparing for Live Service_

Validating Services Before Go-Live_

Before the solution transitioned into the early adopter phase, Valuecom supported the service validation and testing cycle, providing dedicated test resources to support a clean exit from service validation. This de-risked production launch and ensured all service manuals were executable and supportable in live operation.

Operationalising ISO 27001_

ISO 27001 Certification

In parallel, Valuecom managed the ISO 27001 certification of the AWS-hosted environment.

This included:

- Mapping information security policies to operational controls

- Ensuring controls were documented, evidenced, and embedded within the Cloud Operations operating model.

This certification played a critical role in enabling the Healthcare provider to qualify for the bidding of new contracts, positioning the business to be able to unlock new revenue streams in regulated health markets.

Operationally Ready. Secure by Design. Built for Growth_

Delivering Confidence Through Operational Excellence_

By delivering a compliant, tested, and accredited cloud operating environment, Valuecom has enabled the Healthcare provider to move confidently into market delivery, with the operational resilience and regulatory posture required to serve the most demanding of healthcare customers. This engagement is a demonstration of Valuecom’s capability in regulated cloud environments, bringing together compliance, operations, and commercial readiness in a unified delivery approach.
